To cater to the demand for banking and finance professionals, the Faculty of Management and Commerce of M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences offers post-graduate degree programme in M.Com. in Banking and Finance. 

The aim of this Programme is to develop Commerce professionals with specialised skills and applied competencies in theoretical and practical knowledge of Banking and Finance. 

The Programme covers: higher level knowledge of contemporary trends in commerce and business finance , preparation and interpretation of financial statements, statistical methods and proficient use of tools for modelling and analysis of business data, capital budgeting techniques for investment decisions, structure and operations of banking system, analysis of investment, portfolio management, investment banking and liquidation of investments, laws and regulations, and roles of commercial, government and central banks in controlling money market and inflation, micro financing schemes for rural banking , concepts of risk mitigation in financial sectors and their role in investment decisions of individuals and business enterprises.
