At the Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, research is part of the social fabric that brings together different fields of study and disciplines.

Sponsored research projects give faculty members and students the chance to work closely with other academic institutions, research centres, government bodies, and organisations. This mutually beneficial relationship allows each stakeholder to leverage their knowledge and resources in pursuit of a common research goal.

For faculty members and students, sponsored research projects offer the opportunity for industry exposure, promote a collaborative approach to work, and promote multidisciplinary, out-of-the-box thinking.

Till date, the Faculty of Management and Commerce has completed three sponsored projects:

  • Technology Gap Analysis for Mysore Painting Cluster with TIFAC
  • Market Research Analysis for SKF Ltd.
  • DST — Green innovation

At present, the Faculty is working on the project Technology Gap Analysis of Channapatna Toys Cluster’.
